As Members of the St. Bridget and St. Stanislaus Kostka parishes of West Rutland, we reach out to our community through faith, prayer and service, and respond with compassion to the spiritual and corporal needs of all.
About Our Parishes
St. Bridget and St. Stanislaus Kostka churches are nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Green Mountains. Located in the quaint town of West Rutland, Vermont, these churches have served area Catholics for over 150 years. An area once rich in Marble deposits, West Rutland became home to many people of diverse cultures.
These cultures gave rise to the rich histories of St. Bridget and St. Stanislaus Kostka Parishes. We invite you to come and experience our parishes as we join together as one Catholic family in worship of our Father.
St. Bridget’s Christmas Sale
The Parish of St. Bridget in West Rutland will host a Christmas Sale on Saturday, December 5, 2015, from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm in the Parish Hall. There will be a variety of homemade crafts from different vendors, photography, Pampered Chef, Avon, Bake Sale, White Elephant and Huge Basket Raffle. Christmas Basket Raffles Return
The vestibule of St. Bridget Church has been transformed with a beautiful array of gift baskets for Christmas. Raffle tickets for the baskets may be purchased for $2 a ticket or 3 for $5.
Journey to Bethlehem
Prepare for the miracle of Christmas and join us for a musical “Journey to Bethlehem.” On Sunday, December 13 at 2:00pm at St. Bridget Church, the choirs and religious education classes of St. Bridget and St. Stanislaus Kostka Churches will present a Christmas concert and pageant, recalling the joy of Christ’s birth through song. Admission is free, but we encourage attendees to bring a nonperishable food item for the West Rutland Food Shelf.
